Owen and I waited in a long line to see Santa. He was really excited about it until it was his turn. He was a little hesitant to sit in Santa's lap.

I can't believe the changes in the past year. He was 32 months in the first 2 pictures and 20 months in the last 2 pictures.

O Boy Polar Express

We went to the Botanical Gardens to see the Polar Express display with our good friends Kevin and Rosie. It was beautiful. I think that the hot cocoa was Owen's favorite part. He enjoyed it so much that we went again this week. Owen recited lines from the book as we walked through the display.

O Boy Matea Park!

I finally remembered to take the camera to Matea Park. Auntie Amy took Monday off and She, O, Lexie and I took a hike on some trails.

When we were at Matea Park, we found a fake rock. Owen later threw it in the creek.

O Boy Halloween!

O was a dinosaur for Halloween. He was so excited to go trick-or -treating, but after a few houses he kept saying he was all done. One peson asked him what he was and he said Owen. I told him to tell hem he was a dinosaur, but he said "No mama I'm Owen". Another person said look a dragon and he said "No, I'm a dinosaur". He a nice job of saying "trick-or -treat" and "Thank you".

O Boy Pumpkin Soup Party!

Owen likes a book called The Giant Pumpkin and at the end of the book, there is a Pumpkin Soup Party! We read it this morning and he insisted that we have our own pumpkin soup party. I hollowed out a little pumpkin and put a bowl in it and we had some squash soup that I claimed was pumpkin soup. As you can see the bowl didn't stay in the pumpkin. He decided that he wanted peas and green beans too. What an interesting breakfast.

This is our 3rd year to go to Pumpkin Fantasyland in Ligonier. After Owen was done with school we picked up Daddy and traveled north. They have a different theme every year, but the owner of Fashion Farm first came up with the idea in the 60's when he put 2 butternut squashes together and realized it made Snoopy.

A few weekends ago we went for a ride on a train to a pumpkin patch. We had never heard of it until this year. It is near New Haven. We went to a pumpkin patch near Harlan and then we went for a drive and found a beautiful playground. The train slide was only one part of this amazing playground.

We had a great time at Oak Farm Montessori School's Fall Festival. Grandma Tee Tee, Grandpa Charlie, Grammy Cindy, Poppop, Tommy, and Mike joined us for the fun. We saw many of Owen's friends and enjoyed playng in the shady woods.

I didn't get any pictures of O and Tee Tee this weekend so I posted a vintage picture from my archives. O and Tee Tee had fun playing with trains, reading stories, walking in the rain, and all kinds of other fun. They let Mommy go to a yoga class and out with friends!
