We took the great granparents to Wisconsin Dells to ride a train thet we thought was a real steam engine that turned out to be a small diesel train. It was still a fun train ride and the great grands had a wonderful time!
Rosie, Mark & Kevin came over for dinner tonight. It was hard to get a picture of Owen and Kevin together. The picture on the rock was supposed to have Kevin too, but he escaped! We had a feast of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits with apple butter, homemade noodles, fried green tomatoes, and strawberry shortcake.
We had fun with Tiffany, Gavin, and Adeline. We had a slumber party and went to the Children's museum. We set up the geotracks train and had hours of fun playing with it!
When we returned to Grandma Tee Tee and Grandpa Charlie's house, we went to see 2 covered bridges in Carroll county. O waded in a little creek with Mommy. Happy Anniversary Chradie and Tee Tee!
O loves covered bridges so we went to Parke county with Grandma Tee Tee, Janie, and Tommy to find covered bridges. We drove over and walked on many covered bridges on Monday and Tuesday. The sweltering heat didn't stop us from enjoying the bridges. When we saw one covered bridge O would say, "Let's go find the next covered bridge."
Today we received a mailer giving us the date of the parent orientation meeting at Oak Farm. It had a picture of the school on it and I asked O what it was a picture of. He knew it was "Farm School" and he said, "Mamam Farm School is my favorite school." It was so cute!
Vintage O picture circa 2006...O eating dirt.......
O loves to go to our community pool. We have a baby pool with depths of 1-2 feet and a normal pool. He is very brave and loves to jump from the side of the pool into the water. He can retrieve pool toys off of the bottom of the pool floor in 2 ft. of water.
Yesterday the poor little guy was stung 3 times by a bee. He was really tough and didn't cry much.
